Side Royal Palace - All Inclusive

Amazing location. Hotel exceeded expectations and it is incredible value for money.I would return to Side and to this hotel.Coffee shop is fantastic. Great room and shower. Private beach is nearby, it is beautiful and clean.Wide selection of food. Fantastic evening shows, especially the dance troop and the circus night.Main street for shops and restaurants is 5/10 minute walk.

Got a food poisoning here, couldn't walk, had to skip my flight, staff kept demanding me to downstairs to bring money for one day extension while I had high fever and kept throwing up.Didn't eat all day, asked later for a soup in room service, they rejected to bring it because the "restaurant is busy". Charged my friends twice for a stay, refused to investigate it, they lost one day of vacation due to being on calls with the Booking com.

The hotel is nice and only 7 minutes walk from the beach. The hotel provided a very good variety of food. Every time I struggled with the choice, I wanted to try everything. The rooms are quite spacious (we had a room type 2) and are soundproofed from neighbours, not the outside, unfortunately. The cleaning service was very efficient, and the staff was friendly.

The hotel is advertised as 5-star, but in practice, it falls short. We encountered numerous inconveniences during our stay.Room AmenitiesThe hotel does not provide basic amenities like slippers or bathrobes, unless you're in the most expensive room category with a private pool. Furthermore, there's no hair conditioner or toothpaste, and the toiletries provided are limited and don't feel like high-quality products.Noise LevelsNightly parties are a significant issue. If your room fortunately faces another hotel (window-to-window), you might be able to sleep by midnight. However, if you're unlucky like my parents and your room overlooks the pool, you'll be subjected to loud music from the nearby disco or karaoke until 3-4 AM. The music is constantly blasting, and the repertoire is repetitive, featuring the same songs like "Aram Zam Zam," "Lambada," and "Macarena" daily.Smoking Policy and CleanlinessSmokers are prevalent throughout the resort—on the beach, by the pool, and in the bar area. This lack of designated smoking areas has led to the beach being horribly dirty, covered in cigarette butts, which is extremely unpleasant.

There are fewer positives but the positives are BIG! - The staff are very friendly and helpful - While most guests are German and hence the staff speak mostly German, they made an effort to speak English to us - The duvet sculptures (swans, hearts etc) by the housekeepers made us smile - The food was brilliant - great quality and variety. I fear we all put on some weight this week! This was the biggest positive - The beds were comfy and the rooms clean - Loved the tea corner where you can make great quality tea yourself - Great service and selection at the lobby bar

- There is no hair conditioner provided which is odd for a 5 star hotel. This was difficult to explain to staff members who assumed we were talking about air conditioning! Generally too few toiletries for a 5 star hotel. - The coffee generally serves is of poor quality. Again, a 5 star hotel ought to serve better coffee as opposed to the watery stuff from huge tubs. - The housekeepers have a habit of knocking/ringing the bell and immediately coming in using their own key, instead of waiting for a response or someone to open the door. Not great for privacy in your own room. - Our shower was erratic, lots of temperature variation for no reason and even scolded with hot water once.- Minor: we looked forward to seafood night but unfortunately the prawns were massively overcooked - Very minor: can the piano music vary a bit? We've heard the same tunes a hundred times during the week :)

The swimming pool inside is hot in winter and the outside one was also heated to 27•, the people are very professional and the room are comfy. The pool is clean and big.

Bit noisy in your bed near the door with access to elevator and lobby downstairs. The beach is very soso in winter. The food is ok but a bit plain and repetitive. The wine is unfortunately not good at all. The spa is out of price for the service (better go in salon in front of hotel).

Hotel is situated a few hundred meters from the beach, shuttle service is available. Hotel staff incl reception, animators, waiters are friendly and helpful. Cleanness is a top priority at the hotel incl. the beach part as well. Good programs for small kids. Food is good and various. Evening events are also fine.

My overall experience at this hotel was very disappointing.Firstly, only about 2% of the staff speaks English, which made communication extremely difficult. The majority of the staff primarily speaks German. This is not ideal for an international hotel.The food was terrible. Everything was overcooked, with strange, unappetizing sauces in the salads. Often, the food tasted as if it came from a basement, with a stale and unpleasant flavor.The staff at the bar was frequently unfriendly, making the experience even less enjoyable. Additionally, the hotel has a very small territory, which limits activities and relaxation space.Housekeeping was awful. The room was poorly cleaned, and the minibar was not restocked, even after I specifically requested it.Given all of this, I can confidently say that the hotel is not worth the price. The quality does not match the cost at all.

Very nice animators, especially Uliana and Jenya. Interesting evening performances and events.Great food and multiple snacks the whole day.

The bartenders were quite unfriendly, and the spa/massage administrator came across as a swindler, spending an hour trying to convince me to purchase 3-hour procedures for every day of my stay. It felt very pushy and uncomfortable, which was unexpected in a hotel with such a high rating. Additionally, it wasn’t clearly mentioned that you have to walk 10 minutes on the street to reach the beach.

The main reason for us going there was the sea..i have to say it,it was bad,water very dirty..not worth it..Food was decent,we stayed 9 nights,only 2 nights food was different..every day same food..breakfest,lunch,dinner..asiatic night was very good,seafood night was ok…the money we paid wasnt worth it..receptionist didnt speak any english,besides one young guy,he had decent knowledge of english..i was surprised to not be able to communicate in english language…we end up spending our days on the pool,which we werent happy about it,not for the money we paid,if i only knew that we would spend our vacation swimming on the pool,honestly we wouldnt be going..

Hotel is fabulous, always been cleaned, room was spotless, most of the staff were always happy to help and support you ,the pools were very clean and well looked after

Some staff were not so eager and friendly, no free WiFi, had to buy a card to ring home should be free

Everything was great except the power going off at night every few minutes. Not sure if it was a hotel problem or area problem. Besides that staff were great and the reception gentleman helped us a lot trying to locate our lost luggage by allowing us to use his phone upon arrival.

Electricity turning off multiple times at night for the 3 nights we stayed. Very frustrating with kids especially because it made the room really hot with the AC not working.

In general , good staying , great animation, location, building , gym, the reception helped a lot with transfer. A good point that the hotel has a cafe separately. I still would recommend this hotel.

For that money - they are good and try to do everything for comfortable stay of guests. But I was poisoned by food… The quality of product is not good, as last 3 days the stomach could not stand the food. I would recommend to pay attention to this . There were 3 waiters who were not friendly because we did not give the tips at the lunch … they were ignoring us. It was sad. But nevertheless, the staff is very hardworking and professional.

The building is beautiful and well built. Soundproofing in rooms is good considering the noise and activities around the location. Some of the staff are amazing and they put entertainment in place for the guests. Mehmet working breakfast and lunch was fantastic. A huge asset to the hotel, we wish everyone was like him. Keep in mind without listing details, this hotel is mainly focused on German guests. It seems the majority of guests who stay in this hotel are from Germany. Therefore the staff mainly speak German or Turkish and the entertainment is sometime focused on German culture. This is not a bad thing, it is a good thing, but it’s something we were unaware of when booking.Beach is only a 4 minute walk awayFood is good considering it’s buffet style Hotel is cleanSome staff are brilliant

Cockroaches on ground floor in room, huge power generators on display that do not look very. When we arrived we were told we would have a disabled room for the first night, we declined it so had a temporary room which had visitors (cockroaches) from outside walking in the room. We were then given a much nicer room as promised as an apology, but with empty promises followed. Just wine and fruit to the room is all, we reminded staff of this 4 times but were always given false reassurances or we were told to speak to someone else. I was with my girlfriend who was Turkish and she heard staff speaking very unprofessionally about guests and were very rude.There was an incident at a bar where one member of bar staff was so rude about us and unfortunately she didn’t realise we would understand her. Same goes for the men working at the bar. Worst of all was one member of staff at reception who seemed to take our complaints personally and he spoke to us like we were in the wrong. Not a good person to have as the face of customer service. We had bad experiences and they promised things that would never happen.I am writing this review in a kind way as there is so much more I can say. I contacted the hotel before leaving this review to see if they wanted to make it right, a chance to save this review going public which I felt was doing them a favour. I was giving them a chance to offer us anything, a small discount on a future booking or even a just written apology would have been good enough.Unfortunately my negative experience of this hotel then grew. They sent me an email which I have a record of threatening legal action to be taken against me. They then deleted this message, probably in a panic when I responded with shock at what I had just read. The most appalling behaviour from someone who is paid to represent the hotel. My girlfriend feels embarrassed as I was her guest in her country and she couldn’t believe the message I received.

Very excellent beautiful all-inclusive hotel. 2 shopping plaza & tour operator right outside the gate.Food, drinks & service excellent!

There was no bacon or pork sausage for breakfast. No pork for lunch or dinner.

Range and variety of food was good. Choice of fruit was amazing.

There was no separate iron available in rooms or to borrow from reception. Apart from the paid service

Hotel, food, location, beach, media team and price point was fantastic. Majority of the staff were friendly and very helpful.

We actually had a great experience overall. The only issue I found is the service provided at the front of the house. It was just 1 person in particular, she was working on a Monday late afternoon (it was checkout day). We asked a question and she seemed unfriendly, she did not smile and looked annoyed. I am not sure if its becauase she didnt like us because we spoke in English because when she spoke to the German customers she seemed friendly.

Many thanks to the animation team for great entertainment and support. If it weren't for this team at your hotel, my vacation would have been ruined

Hotel is aimed at German guests only. I came from England and felt constant discomfort. If the staff does not cater to English-speaking guests, this information must be provided when booking

Good service, big variety of food, nice location, overall we had a wonderful stay there

The food was good and there was a lot of variety.

The staff was unprofessional that they prioritized the tables where people keep tipping them. Then it made us feel we also have to tip even though it should be all inclusive. Otherwise, they skip our table. There was also a musty smell coming from the bathroom. I believe it is the drain and that was very disturbing at the times when we are at the room. On one of the nights we used the private restaurant at the hotel and there was a piece of human hair on the fried calamari.
